Did you know that it’s the Friends of the Troy Public Library’s 50th Anniversary? Thanks to our friends at the Rensselaer County Historical Society, we do!
Fifty years ago, as the result of the efforts of concerned citizens, the City of Troy provided its library with needed funds and the Friends of the Troy Public Library was born! We are celebrating our Golden Anniversary by continuing in our founders’ mission of supporting Troy’s two remaining library locations: Main and Lansingburgh.
To help us celebrate, we are asking you to please continue or begin your support of these efforts by making a contribution in honor of our Golden Anniversary. And if you aren’t already a member, now is a great time to join!
